The project

The Campus for Transition is above all a training center for students, researchers and professionals.

The different courses offered by Campus for Transition will train the participants to act in their professional and societal commitments by coherently articulating the requirements of the ecological transition, a quest for social justice and the search for the common good.

Such a perspective requires profound transformations in ways of thinking, learning and acting, personally and in common. The pedagogy of the Campus will serve this holistic vision.

All courses will include new types of learning related to new lifestyles marked by a happy frugality, an economy of shared goods and quality of relationships. To share the community life of the Campus in Forges will participate to this personal transition.

The training courses of the Campus Laboratory will be full-time or part-time master’s programs, as well as sessions and seminars for students and professionals. Some of these proposals will be made in partnership with universities and institutions of higher education in France or abroad (such as Schumacher College).
